When we renovated our Millbrook apartments, one of the things we were most excited about was what was coming next door.
Now it’s here: Signal Yard, Milton Park’s new social and retail destination, has opened its doors — and if you’re staying at Millbrook, it’s all just a short walk away.
What’s at Signal Yard
Signal Yard has been designed as the social heart of Milton Park, bringing together independent food and drink, health services, and everyday essentials in one landscaped destination. The line-up speaks for itself:
Day Release by Tap Social Movement — the award-winning Oxford social enterprise has opened its largest venue yet: an all-day café, bar, bakery, pizza kitchen and brewing school across two floors. Morning coffee, lunch meetings, or a craft beer and pizza after work — it covers all of it.
Independent eateries — 1885 Burgers, Chor Muang Thai and Planted Plates give you proper variety within walking distance, so eating well on a long stay doesn’t mean cooking every night or driving into town.
Everyday essentials — a Post Office, Apollo Pharmacy, The Bros Barbers, Flex Health Hub physiotherapy, and Damira Dental Studios welcoming both NHS and private patients. The practical stuff that usually eats into your weekend is now minutes from your front door.
